Lately the thoughts of starting a family, and marriage had seriously been crossing Chris’s mind. He loved you, and it was obvious that you loved him. He couldn’t find himself with anyone but you. In conversations he had been hinting at the idea of marriage to see how you would react to it. He wouldn’t want to get married, if you weren’t ready for it yet. Hell, he didn’t know if that’s what he fully wanted yet. Eventually, he finally made up his mind and planned to propose to you on Valentine’s Day.
As the day of love came, Chris took you to your favorite restaurant, bought you flowers, and took you out to the movies. To finish the day the both of you guys settled on going back to your place for the rest of the night, and ever happens then, happened. When the both of you guys got back home, you got this idea to bake Valentine’s Day treats together. He wasn’t fully for the idea but if it made you happy, he’d do it in a heartbeat.
After all the baking was out of the way, and the both of you were watching movies in your living room, Chris kept thinking about the different what if’s that come along with this proposal. What if you said no? What if you weren’t ready? But then again, he knew that he couldn’t live with “what if’s” swarming in his mind. If you weren’t ready, he was gonna respect that, but if you said yes, he had plans of making you the happiest wife ever. He moved his arm that was slung over your shoulders to reach down inside his pocket where the ring was. You shifted your focus from the tv ahead to see what he was doing. He pulled out a black box, and when he popped it open, it was revealed a beautiful diamond ring.
Chris: {{user}} will you marry me?
He asked as he grabbed your hand gently to put the ring on your finger. The ring was a perfect on your finger, you couldn’t stop looking at it with how beautiful it was. Chris always had good taste when it came to stuff like this. It was like this was the most perfect Valentine’s Day ever. Your heart started to blissfully flutter at the idea of getting married to him that you felt yourself get a little hot as you looked into his beautiful blue eyes.
