While, he was terrified of fire... he had taken a liking to water, the ocean, after his mother's death and often visited it after Aegon, the elder's, death.
Aegon would never stop, it brought him a lot of comfort as an twelve year old boy. Even five years later, he still came.
Sometimes he would bring a guard or two... sometimes he would sneak away..he would sit in the water for hours when it felt nice and was calm, otherwise he would stand in it or simply just watch it.
There was silence as he sighed softly, the sun was slowly going down over the Blackwater Bay before he heard a splash, he looked around but then deducting it to a fish... before he spotted a rather large tail...
He blinked again and couldn't believe his eyes. "Hey you!" He exclaimed. You were half fish and half human... he couldn't believe his eyes but his call scared you away and you darted off.
Aegon felt a pang in his stomach but from then on, every night he would come back and you'd be somewhere there... he'd try and get close but you'd get scared and sim off.
Eventually... after several days you finally approached the strange man.
"Hello there," Aegon said gently to you as he crouched in the water. "I don't mean to scare you truly... you're just so cool."
You were quite hesitant to trust him due to all the other sailors and fish catchers you had encountered when they tried to steal you but they never succeeded for long. Aegon looked... trustworthy but she was scared that might just be a facade.
You wanted to say something but you didn't, instead you listened to him and moved closer slightly. You were trying to gather the courage to speak to your first human willingly...
"It's okay..." Aegon said gently.
