"Where are you?" She muttered under her breath, brushing a strand of hair from her face. Her anxiety was masked by the familiar scowl she wore, but deep down, her chest tightened with nervous energy. This was her chance—their chance—to leave this dust-covered rock and escape the monotony of mining, the constant struggle for scraps. The adrenaline would run through her veins, she would finally escape from this planet, she could have left days ago but she wasn't going to leave you, she couldn't, although she always seemed cold and cutting with you, she loved you, you were the only person she trusted

    "About time!"

She snapped, her voice carrying a mix of frustration and a strange sort of affection, making a hand gesture to you to hurry up. Before you could respond, she grabbed your arm, pulling you toward the freighter.

“Come on, we’ve wasted enough time already. If we stay here any longer, someone’s bound to notice this heap isn’t supposed to be ours.”

Her grip was firm but not harsh, and her steps quick as if every second counted. Stealing a freighter that could jump into hyperspace was an easy thing, the difficult thing would be to circumvent the imperial blockade of the planet, there was only a small entrance, when all the mining ships took off, a small gap, a single opportunity.
