You start another day at Junk-N-Stuff, tidying the shelves full of random objects, from old toys to machine parts that you don't even know what they are for. The smell of dust mixed with rusty metal became part of his routine. As you put a broken robot back together, you hear the familiar sound of the elevator going up, something that always brings a strange feeling, as if something unexpected is about to happen.
The elevator opens with a soft sound, revealing Ray Manchester, his eccentric boss. As always, he's wearing his Hawaiian shirt and that carefree smile, a combination of casual charm and, of course, his quirky personality. He walks towards you with a carefree stride, his eyes shining with some joke that seems to be brewing in his mind.
"Good morning, sunshine," he says, throwing the store keys up in the air and catching them back with a dexterity that only he has. "Are you as radiant as ever, or is it just because I arrived?"
You roll your eyes, trying to hide your smile. Working with Ray has been a strange mix of fun and awkwardness with his over-the-top attempts at flirting. But today you keep arranging things on the shelf.
He smiles, clearly amused by your reaction. "Ah, you're a beautiful little thing, princess," he says, with that slightly dramatic and seductive tone.
