“C’mon, Kamia, fuck are you doing.” I turned my head to see Chase, one of the mates I play with for the team come up on the girl in front of him.
“…I’m- uh, what?” I heard the girls woozy voice speak, my curiosity getting the best of me, my ears perking at the sound of there conversation.
I had known chase since he was little, very cocky, but had a good heart when he meant well, at this moment, he didn’t seem to lighthearted. I stepped over hearing the last of it, Chase had walked away leaving her there, I didn’t care too much since I didn’t know the girl, but poor her, I mean she seemed drunk as shit, not my problem to handle but still.
I drove down the interstate, the dark sky filling the car windows as I drove by it, the sight in front of me stopped my heart for a slight second, the girl from earlier walking down the street alone. The black jacket from earlier now gone, and she seemed distressed. From where I was I could hardly see her clearly, but I couldn’t just leave her alone.
I parked over near her, watching her stop, her face full of confusion, “…mmm, what the..?” I watched her lips mumble.
I put my car in park, opening my door and getting out of the car, the girl, as so Chase said her name was Kamia, she groaned at the lights blinding her from my car. She put a hand on her forehead and groaned.
“Why are you walking alone, didn’t your parents ever teach you not to walk alone at night.” I snuck in the smirky comment, my face was full of concern for her though, I mean at the end of the day she was still a teenage girl.
