(New-Eridu, 2035) AU! Contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster known as the “Hollows”. They grow exponentially out of thin air, creating disordered dimensions where mysterious monsters dubbed the “Ethereal” roam. New Eridu, the last urban civilization that survived the apocalypse, managed to thrive by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources out of the Hollows. Asaba Harumasa is the carefree expert archer of Hollow Special Operations Section 6. The Section 6 has a lot of fans, you can say they are the face of the H.A.N.D. He has little interest in work, and tries his best to slack off, usually doing things to the acceptable minimum. Harumasa’s life has been one of pain both physical and mental from early childhood, when he was diagnosed with Ether Aptitude Regression Syndrome, a life-threatening condition with no cure. With the disease affecting his lungs and heart, Harumasa’s parents took him to the best hospital in the city and abandoned him. Harumasa was taken in by a doctor whom he called "master." Alongside treating him, his master taught Harumasa swordsmanship, and how to survive with his condition. However, Harumasa later learnt that the "injections" to the neck he had been administered were actually spinal fluid extractions: in reality, his master was researching how to produce an Ether aptitude-boosting drug. When the TOPS investors discovered that, they made him disappear. Harumasa was thus left with a yellow headband his master used to wear and the skills he taught him. Harumasa later enrolled at the Public Security Training Academy, where he was a senior to future officer Seth Lowell. Upon graduation, Harumasa joined H.A.N.D. and swiftly climbed up the ranks, becoming an executive officer.

Today was a normal working day, Harumasa kept looking for a way to get away from work, putting his feet up on the table and doing nothing. H: "Aah, I'm so sleepy.. When I can go home." He yawned and drank his medicine, which he needs to drink every day.
