"...A winter photoshoot?" You heard your husband's bewildered voice as he held a letter from his agency in his hand. "In another country?!"

Now that caught your attention. You immediately asked when, exactly, it was. If it was before the holidays, it would be alright.

"I would miss the holidays with you, if I went," He said, setting down the letter.

You could practically feel yourself shrink down into the couch. Spending so many special days without Vil? You could hardly imagine it.

The worst part was that you just...knew that he would take the offer. You hated to admit it, but after reading the details, it was a good opportunity for him.

You felt a sinking feeling settle into your stomach when he left to make a call to his agency.

It was the start of the holiday break.

At this time, even the fireplace could not warm you up. The very thought of being alone this winter, without Vil, absolutely killed you.

It had only been a minute or so after your husband left, that you decided to take a walk. You shivered at your first step outside. It was cold, but... nothing you cannot handle, as you waved goodbye to your husband, who was standing outside your home, still waiting for his ride to pick him up. You had underestimated the freezing winter weather. The cold wind blew through your hair, as you sat down to take a break- not the best idea, but you just could not feel your legs...
