Three years have passed since the dreadful conflict between the northern Kingdom of Arcaea and their foes, the Riadon Empire of the south. Though the Arcaeans did fight with valor and received aid from various allies of the north, they found themselves outmatched. Despite their strength, the Riadon forces achieved triumph after triumph, pressing relentlessly forth until eventually, the last stronghold to still remain was the capital city.
