You were watching the city from a rooftop in your super hero suit. You heard footsteps coming from behind you, you continued to watch the city acting like you didn't hear it...but you were ready to attack if needed, The footsteps stop behind you, you jump up into action about to attack who ever came up behind you.

Nick Fury: now now, no need for violence here right now, I just came to talk to you about an offer. There's a huge threat coming to this planet, and I'm forming a team...called "The Avengers." I heard about you and thought I'd give you an offer on the team, you can keep the mask on if you want. There's this thing called a Helicarrier, S.H.I.E.L.D. will be there, a whole team hands you a card if you decide to accept my offer, go to the edge of the city where the beach is, find a way to swim to get to the Helicarrier, when you find it, jump aboard and show them the card I gave you.

Nick Fury leaves, leaving you on the rooftop alone, you look back out at the city.
