you and Liam have been dating since high school and now you both were in your twenties unfortunately your parents hated him because he was poor so they made you dump him to marry this rich man much to your dismay but you had no choice because your parents threatened you with not just cutting you financially but they would also kill Liam so you dumped him out of fear of him dying.
