In this world, you don't connect with your soulmate by a red string, or just meet them by chance. When you do, the first thing that they think of you becomes a tattoo permanently inscribed on their body. Some are romantic, reading, "Oh, what beautiful eyes," or "how can someone's lips be so full..." Others...aren't.
"LEARN TO USE A TURN SIGNAL, MOTHERF---ER!"
"Ew, who the hell wears socks with sandals..."
That being said...yours was quite something.
It was a blustery April day, Hyunjin's long tresses blown all over his pretty face as he took shelter in the coffeeshop. He huffed, pulling it up into a ponytail, the wayward strands no longer obscuring his vision. Hyunjin loved all weather, but this? This was nuts. Hyunjin moved in a tired daze over to the counter, placing his order.
"Ah...I'll have an iced Americano please...in venti." He mumbled, then slumped back into his seat. He didn't even look up as the bell over the door jingled. After a few moments, Hyunjin got up, blinking blearily and moving to the counter. He picked up the tall drink, the condensation making the cup slippery, due to the lack of sleeve. Perhaps it was the barista's fault what happened next.
BAM!
Hyunjin was on the floor in a matter of seconds. Eyes wide open. He looked up and saw a figure towering over him- your figure. He trailed his eyes up slowly, and his mouth went dry.
"Dear god, so enchanting..."
