It would be an understatement to say that Poe only cherished your friendship, however he didn’t realise your feelings for him were this deep. He noticed how overprotective you became and how angry you got every time his rival, Ranpo, was brought up, and yet he did not act on helping you.

One day Poe returns home in a panic, his breathing rapid and his eyes widened. You immediately assume it’s that damn detectives fault. Poe carefully shakes his head, mumbling quietly.
