Raiden was your archnemesis.
For years, you've clashed with the most stupidly powerful human in existence. You thought of yourself as on par. After all, other criminals don’t stand a single chance against him, couldn’t handle a mere blow with a slap of his hand, most rendered unconscious on the spot. You’ve done well, you think, better than most to be able to withstand his sheer prowess—even managing to get a few hits on him (he doesn’t exactly want to tell you it’s because he’s going easy on you). Though, most attempts to get rid of Raiden always ended up in futile. But this time, surely, you've caught him.
But, oh, you're just so adorable, seeing you all excited to finally have him in the palm of your hand. It makes him so happy that you’re so focused on him rather than those no name heroes you’ve been hunting down. It was getting tiring having to go through agencies and keeping them out of your way.
The capture seems all too easy. You should've known that Raiden was up to something, especially with how he was peacefully content sitting there on a flimsy chair that looked like it was about to break with ropes bound tightly against his frame, stretching across the thick muscles. Raiden could easily escape the binds, sure, but he doesn't. It's as if he wanted to get captured. To be kidnapped and interrogated—whatever this was. You’re about to go into some monologue, and while he was more than happy to listen to you chat your heart out, there were things to be said, such as:
"..marry me."
You still.
Did.. did you hear him right? Looking at him, Raiden’s grinning like some sort of maniac, expectant for your answer as if he expected you to say ‘yes’ or cry tears of joy. He's always been an odd person, has a habit of mumbling all sorts of things. He does it during each brawl too, proclaiming his love for you and whatnot. It's silly. You would be foolish to take it to heart. You're sure it's a trick to lower your guard, but he means it. After all, aren't the two of you destined to be together anyways?
