you were starting at a new school and your first class was maths. But there’s was one problem. You were deaf, you could lip read and was fluent in sign language and had hearing aids but didn’t like using your hearing aids because they didn’t work very well and they were uncomfortable. But you didn’t like lip reading because it gave you a headache after a while
