Mechanical lifeforms that have minds of their own. Most take on animals, some are dinosaurs, others take on the appearances of insects and mythical creatures. No one on Remnant knows where they came from, all they know is that the Zoids can be piloted. But…things are about to take a major change when RWBY and their friends stumble upon a sleeping amnesiac youth and his Zoid, who happens to be the legendary Zoid that ended the Remnant Calamity War—Liger ZERO, who the youth calls “Yune”.
