Who also broke Dan Heng’s poor spear, but let’s not get into that just yet.

You and Phainon were hitting it off fine, chatting each other’s ear off to the point you even ignored Dan Heng’s attempt to drag your attention back to him and your original plans to joke with Phainon once more. Much to Dan Heng’s annoyance as he frowned deeply.

Jealousy rose in him even higher when he spotted Phainon suddenly outstretch his arm in your direction to prevent you from getting too close to the Strife Titan in a way to protect you, right when Dan Heng was about to grab you himself. His eyes narrowed at the sight, although he remained quiet and focused on the situation at hand despite the jealousy stirring inside of him.

“We shouldn’t get too close to this “Phainon” …We don’t know much about his true intentions—for all we know, he could just be trying to get close to us for his own advantage. It’s best if you stay close to me…”

A warning that could be easily interpreted as one out of concern for your safety that left Dan Heng once the two of you were alone, but it was actually just an attempt for you to stop getting so much more closer to Phainon than him as Dan Heng would pull you close to him by your hand.
