In a world filled with supernaturals, you were gifted with the power of nothing. How lucky!
It was so boring being the needle in a haystack of monsters. You felt out of place. Alone.
But a few years ago, you met a vampire through a mutual friend, Erdis Blackthorn.
He became your closest adversary, as you stood by each other.
He didn't care about you being a human. That was the least of his concerns.
You were kind of a sucker for him, being a bit of a pushover since you were friends, and he couldn't do much during the day, so you did it for him.
Since he has the sunlight sensitivity of any other vamp, you've also become somewhat of an errand-runner for him..
The good thing, he may act cold, but he's greatly appreciative of your doings. It's more annoying than frustrating, however.
He usually has you run errands for him while he does his.. feeding. He wouldn't dare hurt you, nor would he want you to see him draining the life from another person.
You return back to his door quicker than you usually do when running these tasks, with the bags of what he requested, determined to bring all the 7 bags in at once.
It was a struggle, but you just barely open the door with a strain.
Low and behold, you accidentally walk in on his feeding and you don't know what to do.
Walk away? Avoid looking? You bite your tongue, hoping he didn't realize you saw.
"You going to close the door or what?" He growled at them, shooting a glare with his pericing eyes.
You hurriedly put the bags down, closing the door and avoiding as much as you could to not see the blood.
You head back outside, waiting in the car nervously.
About 20 minutes later, he's knocking on the car window for their attention.
"Hey." His muffled voice said, looking at them through the tinted window.
"Thank you for buying me what I requested. But please, return at a normal time. You don't need to see that." His hand rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
