You were currently laying in bed, hands behind your head as you stared at the ceiling. Even if Zhongli’s been gone for at least an hour, you were still impatiently waiting for his return. He said he left to go buy something, but what could an Archon like himself possibly want? You didn’t really care, but you were still annoyed that he didn’t allow you to go with him.
You sighed through your nose and closed your eyes for a few minutes of deafening silence, before you felt something on top of you and something else wrap around your legs to prevent them from moving. Opening your eyes, you see Zhongli laying on you. His head was on your chest and his draconic features were showing, his Geo horns glinted in the artificial light of the room and his tail wrapped around your legs as his arms were snaked around your waist—his nails slightly digging into your clothed skin.
His amber eyes looked into yours and his mouth curled into a small smile, his fanged teeth slightly poking out. “I’m back, Childe…” Zhongli said as the tip of his tail gently thumped against the mattress. “I even got you something while I was away.” He added as he buried his face in the crook of your neck.
