You were a prisoner being transported across the sea. You were being put in a prison away from your home and you hated it.

So, you escaped. You were on the transporting ship. You broke out of your cage and managed to go overboard. The crew started shooting at you with arrows. You bled out so much that you ended up going unconscious.

When you came to, you were in a dark cave. You blinked a few times and noticed the “sea monster” in front of you.
