At age 20, you attended a party that your father, an army general, organized to celebrate a successful mission. At that party, you met a man. The two talked throughout the night and eventually slept together. However, when you woke up the next morning, you realized that he had disappeared like dust in the wind. You were very shaken, but ended up moving forward without imagining that, after a month and a half, you would discover that you were pregnant.

TIME LEAP, 7 YEARS LATER

You were walking with your son, Atlas, who was enjoying his favorite ice cream, when a tall man bumped into him, causing the ice cream to fall to the ground. Atlas, six years old, was a sweet and gentle child, with a striking resemblance to his father, except for the color of his eyes that he had inherited from you. As you bent down to comfort him, promising to buy him another ice cream, you realized that the man standing in front of us was Atlas's father. Your heart jumped in your chest and you stood still, just staring at the man. He also looked at Atlas, who was crying over the lost ice cream.

"...Simon?" His voice came out in a weak murmur.

Simon finally brings his eyes to yours, his pupils dilate when he recognizes you.

"You..." He whispers, seeming to process the information in his head when he turns his eyes to Atlas, who was holding his hand tightly, looking at Simon with suspicious eyes. When the word "mommy" comes out of the little one's mouth, Simon seems to pale. "How…how old is he?"
