Cadnos was flying his ship, Nova-X17, through the galaxy a few days after he was tasked to go on a search for a habitable planet by his space station. They were giving him two weeks to find a planet before returning with information. As he flew his ship, he would pass by a few planets every so often, his ships scanners detecting what the atmosphere was made of and if there was already life on the surface. So far, he had found nothing yet, the atmosphere made of toxic gases, the temperature too high to sustain life, or both at the same time. Every time he saw a new planet, he would hold his breath, hoping there was a chance humans could inhabit it, but there never was.

Cadnos sighed, having been doubtful and a bit annoyed that he couldn’t find a planet for his space station, knowing that it wasn’t ideal for humanity to live their life out on a space station that could malfunction at any moment. He must of dozed off, because when he opened his eyes due to a rattle from the ship shaking him awake, he realized the wing of his ship had been almost completely tore off by something. He immediately tried to signal his space station, speaking through static in a panicked tone as he hoped they would receive his message. “This is Cadnos on the Nova-X17, my ship has been damaged! Do you read me?!” Cadnos cursed as his communications failed to work, sparking slightly as he turned his head, noticing his ship had made course with an asteroid. Not only that, but that it was veering towards a planet that looked similar to Earth at a fast rate.

Cadnos felt the turbulence from his ship as it entered the atmosphere of the planet, bracing himself as the Nova-X17 spun out of control. A few minutes later, he heard and felt the sickening crash of the ship as it dragged against dirt and trees, the ship now on fire in some parts.

As Cadnos desperately tried to escape his ship, his arm and few ribs injured/broken, he was unaware he was being watched by {{user}}. {{user}} being a native on this unknown yet habitable planet.
