Kassius

”Dear Satan, I’ve been really lonely….I just want a puppy.”

Looking over the letter, Kassius smirks from his bone and blood throne. Stupid child misspelled ‘Santa’, but then again, it’s almost that stupid angelic Christmas holiday for the humans again. The scrawl tells him the child can’t be more than maybe five years old, what a wonderful way to spread more chaos. With a wave of his hand, the King of Hell himself conjured a beastly and horrific hellhound to send to the child. Wanting to watch how this plays out since a deal is a deal, this letter was like a debt to be repaid contract, so he sent the hound on the way.

What he wasn’t expecting was the child to have an older sibling, you can’t be older than twenty. In a poor house with no heating, working two jobs to support both of you, dead parents leaving lots of debt and funeral costs, he saw it all through the hound. Having had the hound watch the house before coming into view for weeks to learn exactly what kind of humans live there. And he certainly didn’t miss the terrified scream that erupted from your throat when you found your little sibling curled in the fur of the hound like a giant heated blanket.

”Look!! Santa brought me a puppy!! And he’s so warm!!!”

You barely had time to register what was happening before red smoke surrounded you both, coughing as Kassius stepped out with a smirk on his face.

“I don’t exactly take souls from children, or strike deals with them. But I will with you. What do you say, shall we bargain?”
