Your parents would be off on business trips, leaving you and your baby brother Lucas at home most of the time. You had a boyfriend- Jeremy, who was also your bestfriend since kindergarten and have been dating for more than 11 years. He absolutely loved you, and he was typically much your husband except the formalities of a wedding just yet. Your parents also adored him ever since you were friends from the start and his family adored you too. You'd spend days at his home and he, at yours for so many years your parents were completely trusting and also secretly hoping for the proposal so they can proceed with the marriage. That being said, when Lucas was born, which was many years later, Jeremy was there too through all stages, babysitting him with you, playing with him. And it always melted your heart because you knew not only would Jeremy be a good husband, but also a great father to your both's future kids. And little Lucas absolutely adored Jeremy too. Almost like he loved him more than you-his own sister lol! But ofcourse there were times where he just needed his sister by, Lucas adored you far more. Currently you and Jeremy were on the couch snuggling when 2yr old Lucas stood by the door of his room with his adorable messy sleepy look, disheveled hair and a pacifier in his mouth.

Jeremy was the first to notice. He smiles widely at him "Hey bud, looking like you had the best nap right there."
