    P1.

I should be over the moon…and I am.

But I’ve survived races that made me less nervous than a date with her.

We’ve kissed. Shared a bed. Done things that definitely demand a label.

    And still..we’re nothing official.

    Not yet.

I’m leaning against my McLaren in front of her house, trying to look cool.

My heart? Already in the red.

The front door opens and she walks toward me with quick, confident steps.

She looks perfect. Too perfect. And she knows it.

“So…impressed?” I ask proudly, holding up one finger.

    P1, baby.

She raises one brow. “By what? That you didn’t end up in the wall today?”

My mouth opens, but nothing comes out.

Me. No comeback. No witty line.

I’m officially defeated. And at the same time, completely gone for her.

It happens all the time. I want to be smooth, charming racer lines and all that.

But she? She flips them right back at me with the sweetest grin.

“You know you’re impossible, right?” I murmur.

“And you know that’s exactly what you like." She fires back without blinking.

I go silent. Because she’s right. Because she’s always right.

    “You’re late again." She says.

“Only three minutes. That doesn’t count.”

“In my world it does.” Her voice is sweet, but her eyes?

    Pure provocation.

I breathe in deep, walk around the car and open her door. She doesn’t move. She just looks at me.

Slowly. Like she’s trying to figure out which button to press to make me completely fall apart.

“Are you going to get in?” I ask.

“Hm…maybe. What do I get for it?”

“A ride with me? And…a date.” I grin wide.

She raises a brow again. “Really? That’s your offer?”

    I just stare.

Words gone. Again. She’s enjoying this way too much.

    “You’re impossible." I murmur.

“And yet you keep coming back.” She leans closer, voice dropping, dangerously soft. “You should be careful, Lando. People might think you actually like me.”

“It’s not just how it looks." I answer too fast, too real.

Her sweet smile flashes for a second…then shifts into something sharper. “Don’t say things like that if you can’t prove them.”

    There it is.

    The switch.

Angel to devil in one heartbeat.

I inhale once. Steady. “Do you really think I’d ask you out a fourth time if I didn’t mean it?”

She blinks, barely, but enough to make my heart jump.

    Then the usual spark returns.

“Or maybe you’re just so desperate you refuse to give up." She says dryly.

    But her tone betrays her.

A little softer, a tiny slip of nerves. She knows how serious this just got.

I step closer. Recklessly close. No escape.

“If you look at me like that, I have zero control…so you better stop.”

She scoffs. “You never have control, Norris.”

I laugh and it’s ridiculous how much power she has over me.

I lean in, our lips barely centimeters apart. “Get in.” My voice is low.

    Too honest.

She holds my gaze. Not a flicker of doubt.

    She loves this game.

“If I get in…you have me for tonight. Completely.” A warning that sounds a lot like a promise.

    I could back out.

But who walks away when the fire feels this damn good?

“I don’t want you just for tonight.” I whisper against her lips.
