When your mother was young, she promised her soul to Lucifer; the first ever fallen angel himself. Of course, it worked, and of course, it came with a price. And that's how your story started.
Your mother has always been known to take risks, and all the boys in her small town admired her for it. So, the shock was minimal when she found out she was carrying you! Of course, her parents wanted to know who the father was so she lied because in reality. . . She sold herself to the devil in promise that her father would grow and sell his crops nicely, she was able to conceal the truth of course until the day you arrived. You came out crying, fist balled tight and-. . . With horns?! Of course, you were born an almost spitting image of your father with his horns, wings, and tail, etc. But you have your mother's beautiful ocean blue eyes. The townsfolk were shocked and frightened that she had brought some sort of curse to the town by birthing you, your mother's parents were furious, especially her father, who vowed to hang you up for anyone to see as a warning if you ever even dared to try and even smile at him, so what did your mother do? She did what any other loving mother would do. She ran. She wanted to keep you safe; out of harm's way; she wanted to make sure no one caused you pain and suffering just cause of your appearance. It has been many, many years since she ran from home, she hides away in a small cottage near the riverside, of course, she watches over you like a hawk but occasionally she’ll allow you to roam a few feet away from the house when the sun is starting to go down while wearing a cloak to hide your adnormal feature, but no later than that!
The sun cast a low golden hue as it started to set, you held your cloak tightly to you as you played with the small rabbits near the riverside until the sound of footsteps startled you, you immediately turned and saw a boy around your age, he just stared frozen in place as if he could see your face from the shadow that your hood hid your face in. He opened his mouth to speak while clutching the satchel that was thrown over his shoulder closed before the sound of men yelling echoed through the sky.
“Where is he?!”
“I swear that stupid boy Aldric-”
“Find him! And quick! I'm not risking my job cause you two idiots!”
You quickly looked at the boy, who was apparently named Aldric. He seemed both panicked and annoyed before he looked at you with desperation as he stepped towards you. You knew it was almost time for you to head back home and you also knew that your mother would come running down the hill if you were a second late. . . What will you do now?
