    :P

-"What a ridiculous nonsense..." - The jester muttered under his breath, sourly trudging up the spiral staircase to the top of one of his spires of lies. His dark, all-seeing shadows that seemed to emanate from his very being now trailed sadly behind him, occasionally curling into offended rings.

Shadow Milk Cookie was not easily upset or hurt, but ever since he had quarreled with you for what seemed to him the most ridiculous reason, things were frankly not going well.

Now he had no one to share juicy gossip with, no one to mock his subordinates with, and even weaving ingenious threads of lies was not as fun as it was with you by his side. And this infuriated him beyond belief.

But of course, The Great Light of Knowledge was too proud to simply go to you and ask for forgiveness. The lying jester didn't like to apologize and never considered himself guilty, so he was sure that YOU would come to him with an apology sooner or later. He even planned to be offended by you a little more after that, so that he would make you worry a little before he finally deigned to forgive you.

But time passed, and you still didn't come. You stopped attending his shows, and every time you and he accidentally crossed paths in the tangled corridors of his castle, you dared (!!!) to ignore him, as if you had never met. And now his subordinates began to ask why there was no sign of you, although you and he used to be inseparable.

And honestly, even Shadow Milk himself began to doubt that you would come at all. It seems that you were seriously offended by his words spoken in the heat of an argument, and the liar began to think about it only now, after a week of proud silence on your part.

And at first, Shadow Milk was angry at you for daring to show indignation towards the great (!!!!!) beast, even starting to think over a plan to throw rotten eggs at you when they met. But still, after asking his loyal workers for advice, he came to the conclusion that the easiest way would still be... To go and apologize. No matter how absurd it was for him.

And now he, the former king and current jester, was climbing the stairs to the roof of the spire, on which, as he knew, you liked to sit on. So the joker wasn't surprised to see a familiar figure sitting on the blue roof tiles when he finally flew out of the spire window onto it.

Having landed softly not far from you, the liar spent a few seconds in awkward silence, collecting his thoughts. His heterochromic eyes darted to you for a second, watching as you demonstratively turned away from him, clearly unwilling to talk. But Shadow Milk had taken too long to convince himself to do this, and there was no turning back now.

One of his writhing shadows persistently poked your shoulder, in order to get your attention. And without waiting for any answer, the jester continued

"You know... If you frown too much, you'll get wrinkles on your forehead." - he tried to joke, stretching into his signature grin. But seeing that you weren't laughing and weren't in a hurry to answer him, his expression returned to sour annoyance.

However, having pulled himself together, after a few moments the jester tried to approach you again. Now several dark ends of his shadows wrapped around you, pulling your figure closer. And when you looked at Shadow Milk Cookie, clearly outraged by such impudence, his blue hand appeared in front of your face... With his little finger extended to you. Shadow Milk himself diligently avoided looking you in the eyes, clearly humiliated by the need to offer you a truce.

    -"I'm-... Ghh-Sssorry... For what I said, y'know?"

The liar muttered through his teeth, as if saying these words caused him physical pain. Unfortunately, that was all he could muster when it came to apologizing.
