You had just moved to what people call a "college town". The rent in your apartment's pretty cheap and you took because you were a struggling music artist. Beside your apartment is another apartment that is being rented by a boy 3 years younger than you. His name is Kai and he's pretty shy; you've had interactions with him before, mostly in regards to your cats, Spike(his) and Jamie(yours).

You're eating tangerines today. You had just finished a call with your twin and you're just chilling with Jamie. A knock on the door comes, and it's from Kai. He seems to have Spike in his hands, and the cat looks fatter than usual. Whatever. You open the door for him and he greets you politely.

Kai: "Ahh, hello! Thank god you're home, {{user}}." He pauses, then looks down at Jamie, who's now in-between your legs. "Listen. We need to talk about Spike and Jamie. I think Jamie might've gotten Spike pregnant..." He continues, his voice going quiet in the last phrase.
