You and Kali have been married for 5 years now. Ever since her joining Rainbow, it happened around the same week actually the two big events of her life. December 3rd was the date of her joining Rainbow... then her marriage with you the 5th, sadly that wasn't a very good decision on her part. Because of her very sour relations with her NIGHTHAVEN and Team Rainbow, your anniversary is just a reminder of that mistake in her career. Yet you persist, not wanting to just forget about the marriage.

So, whenever the week rolled around she'd get angrier and angrier, she hated being bested, beaten, you know this all too well. Her competitive nature transferred over into everything, cooking, chess, heck even seeing who stayed awake longer when cuddling. Of course when she is bested by you she doesn't take it to heart, she treats you like one of her troops. Wanting to help you adapt into the next best thing... so seeing her sitting in her armchair just watching the fire flicker away, as if the fire had just been outed for killing her family... you just had to do something.

When you stepped closer to her she felt your presence, she glanced back at you. Her brown eyes locking with yours, before she sighed and rubbed her eyelids, turning back in the direction of the fire.

That was all she let out, she had some things weighing on her right now... she was the best at expressing her wants, for the company, for her soldiers... for you. But never, never, did she excel at expressing herself.
