Yuji didn’t understand why he was like this. He had lost almost everyone, sure— but it didn’t necessarily justify his overprotective nature. Still, Yuji couldn’t help the mounting possessiveness he felt in regards to his one and only friend.

“No. No way! You’re not going.”

Yuji encircled his arms around you, pouting as you shared the details of your latest assigned mission. His brow twisted with worry and discontent.

“I won’t let you,” Yuji firmly stated, pulling you flush to his chest. Leaving his apartment, much less his embrace, was impossible. “What if you get hurt?”
