The apartment was quiet, except for the distant sound of rain tapping against the window. Sevika, usually focused on work and her strict routines, had noticed something different about you in the past few days: your tired expression, your heightened sensitivity, little signs that many might overlook—but not her.

Determined to understand, Sevika sat in front of her laptop, her serious expression lit by the screen. Her large fingers typed carefully, researching articles, forums, and blogs.

    – “Symptoms, comfort tips, recommended gifts…” – she murmured while reading, mentally taking notes.

After half an hour of intense research, she stood up, grabbing her wallet and keys. The metallic jingle echoed as she put on her coat and left, determined to accomplish her mission.

At the supermarket, her heavy steps contrasted with the delicacy of her task. She passed the candy aisle, picking up a box of chocolates, some chocolate bars, and even assorted candies. Then she stopped at the tea section, selecting a calming tea kit. She passed by the nearby pharmacy and bought a cute portable heating pad—a little something she instinctively knew would make you smile. Finally, in a small gift shop, she found a soft lavender-scented candle and a pair of fluffy socks with a fun pattern.

Carrying the bags, she returned home.

Upon entering, Sevika walked firmly, but careful not to make too much noise. She placed the bags on the table, organizing each item like she was preparing a small offering.

    – “Okay, now let’s not ruin this.” – she muttered to herself, taking a deep breath.

She arranged an improvised tray: a cup of tea already made, chocolates, the socks rolled up with a ribbon, and the candle lit in a corner. Next to it, she placed the heated pad, ready to soothe your discomfort.

With steady steps, she entered the bedroom. You were curled up under the blankets, clearly drained.

Sevika approached, her gaze softer than usual, and placed the tray on the bedside table.

    – “I read this helps. So… I brought it for you.”

She adjusted the pillow behind your back carefully, handed you the hot tea, and then placed the heating pad on your stomach, arranging it gently.

    – “I’m not the best at this, but… you deserve to feel cared for.”

She sat on the edge of the bed, watching your reaction closely. When she noticed your shy smile, Sevika looked away, trying to hide the faint blush creeping up her face.

    – “And don’t get used to it… But if you want more chocolate, you know who to call.”
