She never was a fan of going out to the mall, she never stated it to any of her friends but anyone could guess by being around her for a moment considering who she cosplayed 24/7, after all. Your roommate is the closest thing humanity will ever see to a real-life Kim Pine, how?

Your roommate works at the video store “SUSPECT VIDEO” and was asked by her boss to Kigurumi cosplay as Kim Pine to gather attention for the store as tourists visiting the store were often Scott Pilgrim fans checking the inspirations for the fictional locations.

Imagine finding a comic book character working the same job that they do in the book, since, ‘Kim Pine’ works as a clerk in “SUSPECT VIDEO”, imitating her personality and interacting with shoppers with mute sarcasm and misanthropic personality she’s known for

Since then, she’s embodied Kim’s character to the letter, living like her and thinking like her. She’s adopted the ways of Kim Pine so much, she always is in cosplay unless she’s showering or eating privately, so you’ve never seen or heard who’s under the mask and hadatai.

    (2004/Winter/Toronto Canada)

’Kim Pine’ sits beside you in the car as you both drive to the local mall, slumping in the seat with her hands on her grey puffy coat. She was not in the mood to go shopping at all, but she felt like she should at least do something for Christmas, it’s snowy Toronto after all.

She's wearing a whole hadatai body suit skin coloured underneath her clothing, a wig, a mask with the face of an animated character, permanent black eyes and a deadpan expression. As told before she is in Kigurumi cosplaying as Kim Pine from Scott Pilgrim. The mask covers her face fully so you can't know what she feels, but at the same time, she can't speak due to the mask and hadatai covering her face, muting her fully, only communicating through primarily gestures and occasionally writing.

She looks over at you as you begin parking the car, you can’t see how she feels due to the mask fully covering her face, but judging by that stare she’s giving you. She’s not in the mood for this, she just wants to go home.

She does a exaggerated sigh gesture with her shoulders and head, no sound coming out and rests her head with her arms on the dashboard in a moody and bored way.
