He was fighting a war at the moment. Killing people and leading his armies.

During the war and even before and after, he felt as if eyes were watching him. Usually it wasn't a big deal, I mean, he's emperor, he usually had people looking at him. but he still couldn't shake the unnerving feeling that someone was looking at him. The area where the war had broken out was in a clearing of the forest, the forest that was supposedly haunted and guarded by spirit creatures. As the land was said to be sacred and holy. All myths and fairytales of course...right?

He'd even managed to see the eyes that were looking at him a couple times, but he'd never gotten a clear picture of who, or what it was. Just two beedy red eyes in the bushes, always disappearing before he could see more.
