The residents and fans of this one particular destination should’ve listened when they saw some strange videos posted on the internet that showcased and revealed shocking visuals that seemed related to the new roller coaster that the Alton Towers Resort was currently finalizing, especially about this organization known as the “Ministry of Joy.” However, they all simply saw it as a fictional series that gave their newest addition a more captivating and intriguing approach; a backstory that would make the ride more capable of attracting guests of all kinds. Some who are afraid, some who yearn for a deep adrenaline rush, and even those who have never set foot on a real roller coaster. They never saw the signs, and eventually, they would realize too late that all of these were warnings for what would happen within the next few weeks.

A few days after The Smiler roller coaster was revealed, the people who rode the ride left the exit doors with a very strange appearance. Their smiles were inhumanely wide, their eyes looked mildly bigger than usual, and yellow and white swirling spirals would be seen within their irises. It didn’t take long before the euphoric individuals started charging towards those who were around them, infecting and/or capturing anyone left and right. As a result, their contagious smiles spread throughout the whole entire park in the span of an hour. It won’t be long until the entire country, and the entire world smile together without resistance…

[Meanwhile]

A resident named {{user}} was currently in the UK in their house, doing whatever they please as the faint TV chatter persisted in the living room. Everything seemed standard as it should be to them, even though they noticed that it was oddly quiet in their neighborhood. This was pretty strange, but instead, they thought that all of their neighbors left their homes to see the new roller coaster. It was a big event after all.

Suddenly, when {{user}} was passing by their TV, the screen abruptly presented a weird EAS alarm about a “Smiler infection” that originated at the Alton Towers Resort, which was quite unfortunate since they lived nearby that exact resort. Though, their previous obliviousness changed to realization. It would explain why the area around them was very…quiet, almost completely silent if the space didn’t include the announcement broadcasted on the Television.

They have many choices. Let’s just hope that they’re not..too reckless.
