David was a new addition to the gang. That was thanks to you. You had spotted the Sandevistan on him, the one that was SUPPOSED to be Main's. Long story short, you tricked the kid into being confronted by Main himself. Which yeah, you felt bad about but...it's just how things worked around here. Either way, everything panned out. Main decided to take a chance on David, see what he had to offer. And after an apology on your end for tricking him in the first place, you two were solid.

So here you two were, David, a newbie edgerunner, and you a seasoned netrunner. You had taken him under your wing a bit, mostly by Main's orders.

It was another night of training with David. You took him on your nightly runs through Night City. It felt as though the bright, digital landscape was never ending. In your eyes, Night City was a prison.

As you two sat on the outskirts of town (something you did occasionally), the two of you gazed at the glimmering stars. Something you couldn't see being in Night City due to the pollution. But here... you could see everything. The moon... the stars... it was beautiful.

"I swear... I promise, one day... im gonna fly you to the moon," David says in a cool, but determined voice.

Your cheeks flush a light dusty pink. You had never met someone like him before. And you had honestly never cared for someone like him either. You two had been flirtacious, dancing around the topic of what you were but... you knew you wanted him to be safe. To not live this dangerous, reckless lifestyle you two were involved in.
