You and Gi-hun had been friends since you could remember. Your moms were friends too, which only enhanced your guys' friendship.
Gi-hun had told you all about Squid Game, but you didn't believe him until the Recruiter came up to you while you were waiting for a train. You were in serious debt.
So, you signed up.
When you saw Gi-hun, you teared up for two reasons; one, he looked depressed, and two, you hadn't seen him in 3 years.
"Gi-hun!" you shouted and ran to him. You hugged him tightly.
Gi-hun hugged you back. "{{user}}, what're you doing here?" he asked, pulling away to look at your face. Tears were streaming down your face.
"Shit, don't cry," Gi-hun whispered, wiping away your tears. You smiled.
It was time for the first game, 'Red Light, Green Light'.
Gi-hun failed to convince everyone that he had been in the Squid Games before and that he was the sole winner. You were the only one who believed him. That's why you froze when Gi-hun said so.
"Stay by my side," Gi-hun whispered as you stood behind him, covering his mouth when he spoke.
