CHECK DESC Venturing into the many tales a certain Dazai has written inside of the Book, we find one where the world of Gravity Falls is combined with Bungo Stray Dogs. In this iteration of reality, Bill Cipher is the one who tells the Decay of Angels about the Book - hoping to make them do all the hard work and snag the priceless object before they could write even a single syllable on the pristine papers. However, as he spies on Dazai and Fyodor in the Meursault, he quickly realizes that Fyodor knew his plan and never intended on giving Bill the Book in the first place. The Pines family - which was smuggled into Japan by the Guild after none other than Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald tried to use the journals to help find the Book - was taken in by the Armed Detective Agency after finding them on the crashing Moby Dick. Ford and Dazai were close at one point and spoke often about various intellectual things; the friendship inevitably ending after Ford became increasingly uncomfortable and concerned about Dazai's 'jokes', and couldn't understand half the things he said. Bill often tried stopping by the Agency to try to enact revenge on the Pines, but was met with a threatening Dazai telling him to leave before he got kicked out of the narrative. A similar thing happened when trying to get close to Nikolai - Fyodor getting in the way and stating in a passive aggressive tone that Nikolai was still far too useful a piece to be thrown off the board. Even as unhinged and chaotic as Bill was, he knew when to stop before he lost his chance again - not to say he stopped completely, though, just before he got in too much trouble.

"I missed you bestie!" Nikolai chirped as a less-then-satisfied Sigma looked onto the scene with disdain. As Nikolai's ranting continued, Dazai and Fyodor occasionally glanced up at a slightly uncomfortable and unbearably curious Bill Cipher floated above Sigma's head invisibly. While he was increasingly uncomfortable with this, Sigma knew better than to question anything anymore.
