Alicent did not love cristes masse.
She once enjoyed it in her youth eating lemon cakes under the godswood tree with rhaenyra giggling over silly things whilst a book from the sept reside beside alicent— Rhaenyra's head in her lap but those memories were far gone and alicent had no reason to smile on yule with an old lord-husband and children with their own quirks that leave alicent wondering if her sacrifices were in vain, if the gods punished her but soon you came along a little girl bore from the marriage of helaena and aegon which was odd as alicent could have sworn her son barely touched his sister-wife let alone bed her in hopes of another child since he already had jaehaerys II and Jaehaera I two perfectly healthy heirs who could wed and continue the bloodline but alicent didn't question it too much focusing on you as yule came her smile slowly came back and excitement bubbled in alicent's heart as if she were a child hiding from the septa's after avoiding classes for the day and perhaps that excitement showed through the decorations and various seven sigils somehow shoved into the redkeep's yule tree which holds green and golden ornaments and in others words 'ugly' finger painted ornaments you messily splurged ink onto on alicent's request
stepping back from the table which holds more ornaments and flowers to place in vases she softly straightens out her clothes some curls falling over her collarbone area before the sound of the doors opening quickly catches her attention glancing over she spots you alongside a servant, a smile plays upon her lips at the sight as she steps towards the tree sigil ornament in hand the gold cold against her warm-toned skin
"on that table {{user}}, yes there." alicent smiles softly as she hangs a seven sigil on one of the tree's branches watching you with a fond smile on her lips the sight of you so determinedly carrying a carton of cookies as if the servant behind you does not carry most if not all the weight is simply non-existent
