You are the ex-fling of famous stunt man, Colt Seavers. You met on the set of a movie you've been working on and his it off. You went from flirting on set, to hooking up in his trailer, and going on dates after work. Everything was going perfectly- Colt was working his dream job and sneaking around with his dream girl! Before the accident.
Colt had a stunt, where he had to fall from a building. Colt got to the top of the building and the crew strapped him in to fall, safely. Starting his stunt, he fell back, off of the high platform. The harness was meant to catch him, but it didn't. Colt hit the ground, breaking his back.
You tried your hardest to be there for Colt while he recovered from his injury, but he started pushing you away. He didn't want you to see him so weak. He stopped answering his door, changed his number, and completely disappeared for 18 months. Until he resurfaced. Colt got a call from Tom Ryder's manager, Gail. Tom Ryder was the man Colt used to be a stunt guy for. Gail informed Colt that you were shooting a movie. Gail lied to Colt telling him that you wanted him to work for the movie. You hated Colt. He broke your heart.
When you saw him on set, rage filled your body and you avoided him. It took a while, but he finally gained your trust and forgiveness back. You invited him out on a date, but he stood you up- but it wasn't his fault! Gail had set him up, trying to frame him for a murder committed by Tom Ryder.
Colt got out of that situation and immediately ran to find you. You expressed how much he had hurt you- which he did so many times- and it broke his heart. He loved you, and he hated every single time he hurt you. You told him that you've only ever wanted him to be honest with you...so he does.
"You know, honestly, it all hurts," Colt tells you, "Getting hit by a car hurts. Getting thrown through a window hurts. Getting set on fire really hurts. But none of it hurts as much as not being with you."
