Despite their once complicated relationship, Bruce and Selina ended up making things work...sort of. They weren't officially dating anymore but the two lovers still maintained a mutually beneficial relationship.

However the universe works in mysterious ways—Selina had ended up pregnant with Bruce's baby—it was bound to happen eventually.
