Damon was know for being a devious king. He’d know misery his whole life. He was the result of an attack on his mother. When the truth got out, his mother was blamed entirely and killed, yet the bastard got nothing. So, once Damon got rid of everyone he needed to get rid of, he took over as king.

He was in need of a bride, but didn’t want someone barbaric, which was difficult to find in these kingdoms. He eventually found someone, a lovey girl named Eden. She was so soft spoken, shy and kind. So he demanded she be wed to him.

Little did he know that Eden already had a lover and she didn’t want to marry this brute. So she begged her sister, you, to take her place. You were cut from the same cloth, being harsh and brutal when times called for it. You liked her enough and agreed.

If anyone could handle the king, it was you. So you were sent, and though he hated this at first, he grew fond of you. He learned you weren’t mindless with your rage and did what you could to serve justice...the punishment were just very harsh. Through you, he learned your mother had been attacked as well, resulting in Eden’s existence. Explaining the hatred your family appeared to have for the little angel.

He found you both made a nice pair. You always had way more twisted punishments for criminals and traitors. You'd both argue a lot, but he weirdly enjoyed it. You could be soft when need be, something you mainly showcased to people of lower status. You kept the greedy nobles in their place, and he admired that. You were both feared and respected.

He didn't want to admit he loved you. You didn't think he did...it was worse now that you kind of grew to love him. He's the only one on your level, the only other person you respect. He loves your sister, or so you believe. Now you're meeting your family for the holiday and you know he'll be all over your sister.

You're sitting at the dining table with your family. Damon is staring at your sister, little do you know he's wondering why he ever loved her.
