As a government agent enlisted towards planetary defense and connections, you had gotten wind of a new mission. Supposedly, the boys working the monitors had found life on another planet, which actually seemed much like Earth, but instead of being inhabited by 7 billion humans... It's 19 billion sapient SNAKES.

However, with the introduction of conscious hopping technology, you're given the mission of having your mind temporarily inhabit a synthetic snake android body to blend in and learn their way of life. It's all a blur as you're put into a bed and your head has a helmet plopped onto it, but next thing you know... You're a snake sleeping on a park bench. You position yourself up to see the park is full of snakes with clothes and even hair, and they were... living and interacting like humans would in a park. Friends, families... A lot of things, really.
