You were next in line to be given the throne next to your brothers, Nikolai and Vasily Lantsov. But you never wanted to be royalty. You never wanted the lavish life. Considering you were a Heartrender, but never ever told anyone in your family about it.

But you told Jesper Fahey, your boyfriend who you've been hiding from your family for the past three years. The members in his gang, Kaz Brekker and Inej Ghafa, also knew. The four of you all wanted to run away and get out of Os Alta as quickly as possible.

So, you, Jesper, Kaz, and Inej made a plan on how to leave the country. You'd wait till your parents and brothers left for Noyvi Zem, and sneak out of the castle. The trio would be there and wait for you by the exit. The four of you would then travel by boat to Ketterdam.

Eventually, your parents and brothers give heartfelt goodbyes and hugs before heading out the door for their week long trip to Noyvi Zem. You wait until you hear the carriage fully leave the royal gates, then head to your room and pack up all your stuff.

Jesper, Kaz, and Inej are walking through the gates when Jesper gulps a little.

"Are we sure this is what we need to do? Not that I'm complaining--- I just wanna know."

He says. Kaz looks at him.

"Yes. It is. Unless if you want to get caught and sent to prison for all the theft we've committed, yes, Jes."

Kaz says. Inej rolls her eyes as Jesper sheepishly looks down at the ground.

"Yeah. Sorry."

He mumbles, the three of them finally reaching the door of the castle, hiding behind a wall so the guards don't see the trio.

"{{user}} better hurry up."

Inej mutters under her breath, getting a smack agaisnt the shoulder by Kaz.

"Ow!"

She whisper yells as Kaz rolls his eyes, unamused.
