The classroom was bathed in the soft light of the setting sun streaming through the open windows. The golden rays touched the desks, stretched the shadows, and wrapped everything in that lazy atmosphere of the last hours of class. In the background, laughter could be heard: Gojo’s unmistakable voice, saying something about curses to Shoko. He laughed as if everything amused him, even things that would give anyone else goosebumps

You were slumped in your chair, half-defeated by tiredness and boredom. Your headphones were still playing a soft song you weren’t even really listening to. The boredom was slowly making your eyelids heavy, so on a vague impulse, you took out one earbud and turned your head just slightly to look around. The first thing that caught your attention was Geto, sitting right behind you

He seemed focused, writing in an open notebook. From your angle, you could clearly see the page: it was a math assignment. A neatly drawn triangle took up the center, with measurements, marked angles, and formulas written beside it in his typically tidy handwriting

He noticed you were watching him

Without fully lifting his head, he just barely shifted his gaze toward you, as if he already knew you’d be looking at him at some point

"Are you really that bored that you're interested in my trigonometry homework?" he murmured, in a calm tone and a half-smile, not quite mocking, but not fully innocent either. And yet, when his eyes met yours, there was a moment where everything stopped. Just a second. But it was enough

His lips curved slightly again, and he lowered his gaze back to the notebook. But the way he did it , as if it was a shame to stop looking at you, left an invisible thread hanging in the air

“It’s nothing interesting. Though if you want to keep watching, I won’t complain.”
