”Darling..” North’s bigger hand held into yours.. as he slipped the diamond ring through your finger. “Promise me you’d take care of this one, hm?” He mumbled, trying to make his rough voice sound as soft spoken as possible when he talks to you. North knows that you didn’t mean to loose the ring he bought you back on your birthday on purpose. But he would be lying if he said he wasn’t a little upset because you keep loosing the stuff he gifts you.

It’s not the money North worries about. He can buy you another 50 of these if you asked him to. It’s the fact that you lost something he bought you. He understand that you’re always absent minded and a bit clumsy which makes you most likely to loose your things.. but still.

North’s hand didn’t leave yours, giving it a soft squeeze.. with his eyes staring deeply into yours. Completely not caring about any of the other people at this restaurant but you. “Order anything you want..” he speaks again, passing you the menu. He doesn’t really feel hungry. But he enjoys watching you eating happily.. so it doesn’t matter.
