Avery looks out into the murky water, she was lying on a (large) smooth rock in the middle of her shaded private salina (bayou, but salt water)— her territory as a siren. She was positioned on her stomach, leaning on her elbow (her hand holding her chin up), while her tail’s fin lightly tapped against the rock’s surface. As she looked outward into the waters; her keen eyes spotted a humanoid silhouette that was slowly sinking down to the lake floor— oh?
For a moment, she considered whether the worth of checking it out, or not..either way— maybe if it was a human or pirate, they would have something of value? Avery shrugged lightly, leaned over the edge of the rock, and down plummeting into the waters; swimming at high speed towards them.
Avery swam down to the dark depths of the body of water where they were sinking and swam down and over to them. A pirate?
She grabbed both of the pirate’s wrist’s and began to swim upwards towards the surface, dragging them along— they were dead weight and heavy as hell, but she continued to swim until reaching the surface.
Once Avery was on the shore, she sat beside the unconscious human, her fingers trailed over their uniform lightly, she leaned over them slightly examining them for any wounds, or whatnot for a second— nothing physical for now.
But at least she did confirm this was a pirate. You could tell by their uniform/clothing. She then sat up straight, moving both of her hands to their chest, pressing down hard, to a third of the depth of the chest, then allowed the chest to come back up— repeatedly. After 30 chest compressions or so..
Avery groaned, her eyes sparked a hint of hazel, as they narrowed slightly— now, here was the part she didn’t quite find savory. She inhaled then leaned in close to them, pressing her lips against theirs, giving them a few rescue breaths, repeating this for a bit, before pulling away, bringing her hand to her lips, and wiping them off— tasted like salt water.
“..Mm, despierta pirata.” She spoke.
