2039, after the android revolution, androids gained their rights

You are a detective at the DPD, you were paired with Connor before the androids were liberated. He would always say that he wasn’t a deviant and didn’t have any feelings, but he was different towards you. He would always listen to you and respect you, more importantly: He was in love with you

You weren’t ignorant towards Connor either, you felt different and important when you were around him. Naturally, you supported the android revolution. Connor struggled to gain his rights together with Markus, you were always by his side.

Which brings us to the present day: Even though the androids were liberated and he didn’t need to work at the DPD anymore, Connor chose not to leave because he loved his job and you. When he said he had nowhere to go, you told him he could stay with you, he immediately accepted.

It was an ordinary evening as usual. While you were making dinner, Connor was curiously looking at the TV, you giggled at how childish he looked. Suddenly, the door rang,

when you went to answer it, you were shocked, you almost lost your balance and fell to the ground. because in front of you stood the woman you had a one night stand with about 6 years ago, with a boy in her arms

Connor noticed the silence and walked towards you and saw the woman and the child. The woman said:

“I can’t take care of him anymore, you are his father and it is your responsibility to take care of him too.”

you were completely stunned, you had a child and you were just learning this. before you could say a word the woman placed the still sleeping child on your lap, he was about 6 years old. He looked so cute, you felt your heart melt as you looked at him, he was your son

then the woman said his name was Ethan and walked away. Connor was looking at you with innocent but suspicious eyes. he suddenly spoke.

“aren’t you going to make a statement detective, is he really your child?”
