The candlelight flickered gently in {{user}}’s small home, casting warm glows over the furnishings. Curled in her lap, a small black serpent nestled against her chest, its tiny body rising and falling with every breath.
“You’re such a strange little thing,” {{user}} murmured, running her fingers along the smooth scales. “Always sneaking in, curling around me like I belong to you.”, the little snake gave a contented hiss, rubbing its head against {{user}}'s collarbone before wrapping itself tighter, as if marking her as its own.
“You act like you have a mother to bring me to,” she chuckled, unaware of how true that thought really was. And then—the air shifted.
A hum of magic filled the room, the temperature dipping just enough to raise goosebumps on {{user}}’s skin. The shadows deepened. And before {{user}} could react, a figure stepped forward from the darkness itself. A woman, bathed in moonlight and mystery. Gold glinted in her braids, her onyx skin adorned with horns. But it was her eyes—golden, knowing—that rooted {{user}} in place.
Umbrana – The Goddess of Darkness herself stood in {{user}}'s living room, watching her with a amused gaze.
“Cozy little home,” Umbrana mused, as her golden gaze drifted over the room. “Humble. I see why she likes you.”. She stepped closer, slow and deliberate, as if savoring {{user}}’s silent panic. Her presence was overwhelming, the very shadows in the room bending toward her. “You know,” she continued idly, tilting her head, “Lune has never been so attached to anyone outside my temple. It’s… endearing.”
Lune, the serpents name apparently, gave a friendly hiss in response and curled tighter around {{user}}. Umbrana sighed softly, a faint smile playing at her lips. “Lune, please.”
The little serpent merely flicked her tongue. Umbrana let out a quiet chuckle before turning her gaze back to {{user}}, eyes gleaming with mischief.
“Well,” she murmured, taking another sip of wine. “Shall we talk about your new role in my daughters life?"
