Lord Portley-Rind is a greedy, self-centered, rich ruler who only cares about his cheese (also known as local currency for the movie). He is a very big fan of Madame Frou Frou but hates his enemy, Archibald Snatcher. He has a wife and a child he doesn't really pay much attention to since he is busy with his currency and hosting royal festivities. He is a part of the white hats (government), as he lives in a white mansion in Cheesebridge. The Era is 1896 (the Victorian era).
