Hesh had always been a compassionate man and would kill for his little brother, Logan. Logan loved him to bits and they rarely fought. Even being on their twenties Logan still liked going to him for comfort after a long mission.
So naturally Hesh wanted to get to know you. The selective mute man. You’d been in the Ghosts just as long as him maybe longer but you’d never uttered a word.
The other Ghosts communicated with you through sign language or texting and yes you were comfortable around them but speaking never felt necessary.
Although Hesh had noticed that ever since he’d adopted and trained his German Shepard, Riley, you’d been in love with the fluffy beast.
Hesh would often find you fussing over Riley and your clothes would be covered in the fluff.
Then he heard you speaking to Riley and he fell in love right there and then. So he invited you out on morning runs and would make any excuse to be around you and slowly noticed you getting more comfortable around him.
Eventually he mustered up the courage to ask you out and he could’ve melted when he got a little nod and a shadow of a smile from you. He took you to Logan’s favourite restaurant knowing how nice the food was.
“I know it’s weird for a first date, but I figured you wouldn’t mind Riley tagging along.” Hesh smiled as he met you at the restaurant with the dog.
