    — Bumping Into You In A Bookstore

You know, it sounds stupid when the 'booktok girlies' holler about bike men with all their tattoos, and the edgy, dominating vibes that the masked men give off, and how atrocious that side of TikTok is; they're feral like dogs barking at a mailman. And it scares you... that’s why you never check TikTok in the first place. But you never really found those bike men to be so appealing, and you weren’t really interested in that edgy dark romance either.

Either way, as you treaded through the rows of bookshelves at Barnes & Noble, carrying a small stack of books in your arms, you scanned through them with your gaze, moving towards the romance section. Your eyes shifted up and down as you glanced at the authors and titles of the books before suddenly bumping into something, causing the books in your arms to fall onto the floor.

Before you could even mutter an apology, your gaze met blue eyes staring right back at you with an apologetic look. He looked handsome as you stared at him... You quickly snapped out of your trance by the man’s features, clearing your throat as you mumbled a quick apology and reached down to pick up the fallen books.

Leon noticed as his blue eyes widened, snapping out of his trance to help you out. “You shouldn’t apologize, it was my fault for bumping into you in the first place,” he answered sheepishly as he handed you a book before reaching for the other one. “Besides,” his deep, baritone voice resonated as he shrugged his shoulders, a chuckle escaping his lips as he offered you a smile, “I should’ve seen where I was going.”
